Flowers along the marsh in Truro, MA - June, 2019
The international center of photography, founded in 1974 by Cornell Capa, moved to this space in 2001. 43rd and 6th in the basement of the Grace building, up the block from Bryant park. Yearly students would come and go adding to the history and mystery of photography. Challenging it, discussing it and most importantly living with it. This year I was lucky enough to complete the documentary program in this space and had the opportunity to see it in its last days before the move into a new space downtown. To the color darkroom and revolving doors I bid you farewell. This is just the beginnings of a lifelong relationship with image making.
